Meet Dr. Lam

Dr. Brandon Lam is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who values building connections with patients and tailoring their care to their individual situations and preferences.


He is a DFW native who grew up in Arlington, TX. He attended undergrad at the University of Texas at Arlington and subsequently attended medical school at the University of Texas Health San Antonio (UTHSA) Long School of Medicine. There, he discovered his passion for ophthalmology and the impact the field can have leading him to stay at UTHSA for his ophthalmology residency.


Dr. Lam has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and has presented at national conferences. He was an Advocacy Ambassador in conjunction with the Texas Ophthalmological Association to advocate for the field and patient care at Congress in Washington, DC. He has participated in a medical mission to Honduras where he performed extracapsular cataract surgery for patients in need. Throughout his training and career, he has been passionate about constantly learning new advancements and teaching the next generation of physicians.


In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their pomsky as well as his family and friends. He enjoys a variety of sports including basketball, tennis, pickleball, football, skiing, and traveling.

During Dr. Lam's extensive residency training, he experienced a wide range of pathology and complex medical and surgical cases in addition to the newest surgical techniques. These are selected surgical and clinical expertise Dr. Lam is experienced in:

  • MIGS Glaucoma Surgery (OMNI Sight Sciences Certified)
  • LASIK/PRK Laser Refractive Surgery
  • Pterygium Surgery
